Who are we?

// Sara – General Coordinator

Hello! My name is Sara Jarvie-Clark and I will be FASA’s new general coordinator for the 2018/2019 school year! I am studying in the theatre department and will be going into my fourth and final year this fall. I’m looking forward to being part of this community, and continuing to uphold the wonderful work FASA does for the students in fine arts. The spirit of Concordia, and Montreal in general, is made vibrant through all disciplines of art. As a young artist myself, I’m constantly inspired by the fine arts students and teachers at Concordia. I see the work being done, and I know that the arts can be game changers for this topsy turvy world we’re living in. Over the next year, I hope to contribute to the innovative and diverse projects that come out of FASA and support the variety of ideas that come to us from the fine arts community.

// Mariana – Club & Services Coordinator

Well, hello, bonjour, hola! My name is Mariana Moreno Caro, some of you already know me from last year but I am really excited to be your FASA’s Clubs and Services Coordinator for the year 2018/2019. I am studying in the Studio Arts department and this will be my last year at Concordia so I am very enthusiastic to be part of the Fine Arts community once more. For this year, I am looking forward to work with an amazing group of Coordinators and of course, the student body. I hope to contribute to the development of this year Clubs and to work hand in hand with them to achieve their goals and support their ideas while helping my colleagues and the fine art community to make this year events, projects and ideas as inclusive and diverse as possible.

// Daisy – Student Life Coordinator

Hi FASA, my name is Daisy Duncan and I am the new Student Life Coordinator! I am currently a third year student in the department of Art History, and I have previously (and continue to) contribute to various fine arts groups and publications at the university, such as Ethnocultural Art Histories Research Group, and the Undergraduate Student Exhibition Journal. I feel very lucky for my experience entering Concordia’s Fine Arts community during my first year, and I hope that I can contribute, through my position, in making other new students feel as welcome, connected, and happy within this community!

// Louise – Communications Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Louise Campion and I will be your new Communications Coordinator for the 2018/2019 school year! Originally from France where I attended the Fine Arts School of Lyon, I arrived in the amazing city of Montreal in 2016. I am now completing my B.F.A. in Studio Arts (mostly painting and drawing) and will start my last year at Concordia in September! Grateful of all the good vibes and opportunities this new place brought me, I want to take part in it and help FASA give you guys even more great events, chances and support during your years in the Fine Arts department. I as many others, struggle when thinking about the future of Art, and about my future in the Arts. It would be a privilege to help my Concordia art stud buddies make this journey a little more funnier and educative!

// Jordan – Office Coordinator

Hi! My name is Jordan Beaulieu and I am FASA’s Office Coordinator this year. I graduated from the Studio Arts and Art History program in 2018 and have previously worked with Concordia Fine Arts organizations including the Art Matters Festival, Yiara Magazine, and more! I am happy to support Fine Arts students in any way I can, and am frequently working in the FASA office during the day if you want to drop by. In addition to my administrative work at FASA I like to make comics, drawings, stories, and videos. Anyway, never hesitate to send me an email if you have questions!

// Clara – Finance Coordinator

Coucou great soul! My name is Clara Micheau and I am happy to say that I am FASA’s Finance Coordinator. I am currently in my second year of Studio Arts with an interest in sculpture. I strongly believe in warm communities where we help each other reach our goals. Our Alliance, especially, is here to support our growth in the Arts where I believe there is a place for each one of us. Ironically, money is crucial for realizing projects, organizing activities and seizing opportunities. Being aware of that brings me to highly value ethical and transparent procedures. As a result, I aim to contribute, through my position, to a positive environment by managing efficiently FASA’s financial matters in a way that is compliant with its bylaws and allows accountability.
